Our existing client base consists mostly of privately held businesses, professional practices, manufacturers and distributors, realtors, brokers and high net worth individuals. We offer our clients a wide range of accounting, bookkeeping, tax, financial planning, estate planning, business valuation and consulting services.
We are in the market to expand our client base and seek an experienced a top-level tax manager, a 5+ year senior and a junior staff accountant to join our firm.
Manager Job Description and Responsibilities:
Manage workflow relating to tax assignments and related projects for firm’s clients.
Advise firm’s clients on a full range of corporate and individual tax services, including planning, research and tax strategies.
Research and resolution of complex tax issues.
Review of auditing and compilation assignments.
Perform expert financial analyses for business clients.
Market and develop new business.
Recognize new business opportunities for existing clients.
Review tax returns and other accounting projects.
Supervise 6-10 accounting staff members.
Maintain regular communication with existing clients, recommending sound business practices and tax-saving advice.
Senior Job Description and Responsibilities
Experience with tax preparation for corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals
Experience in workpaper preparation
Experience in sales tax and payroll tax preparation
Strong oral and written communication skills
Qualifications for Senior and Manager
CPA required .
5+ years of public accounting experience a must.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Time management skills.
Dedication to coaching and mentoring staff members.
Qualifications for Junior Staff Accountant
B.S. in Accounting
Must score an 80% or better on the Brown CPA Group, Ltd. bookkeeping examination
