Barry Burchel is a Tax Director at Brown CPA Group and has over 15 years public accounting experience. He has broad experience, ranging from tax compliance and planning to financial statement compilations, reviews, and audits. He has worked extensively in strategizing and developing multifaceted tax plans with complex business structures and advising clients in the increasingly complex area of multi-state taxation. He has served as the tax consultant for numerous clients through merger and acquisition transactions and has extensive experience in representing clients in examinations by taxing authorities dealing with a variety of agencies and tax types.
Barry holds a bachelors degree in Accounting from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Taxation degree from DePaul University. Barry also holds a CPA certification in the state of Illinois and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
